A few days ago, I spent a short city trip in Frankfurt, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The city offers a striking contrast between sleek modern skyscrapers and charming historic buildings. I loved strolling through the lively squares, walking along the Main River, and taking in the stunning views from the top of the Maintower. Frankfurt also has a lot to offer when it comes to food. You can enjoy traditional local dishes, but the city is also full of international restaurants. One highlight for me was Im Herzen Afrikas, a cozy place serving delicious African food in a beautifully decorated interior. Frankfurt’s mix of cultures really comes through in its cuisine. In the evening, the skyline is especially beautiful — the view from across the Main towards the financial district, with its modern high-rises lit up, is truly impressive.
